Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
auch dieses Jahr wurden zum Anlass der Newrozfeiern wieder zahlreiche Kinder und Jugendliche in der Türkei brutal von Angehörigen der türkischen Polizei, Gendarmerie und Militärs, Sondereinsatzeinheiten verhaftet, misshandelt, verschleppt und gefoltert. Die Verteidigung durch einen Anwalt und die medizinische Versorgung der Opfer wird verhindert.

The Fourth Anarchist Bookfair in Zagreb will take place on April 11th to April 13th, 2008.

Anarchist Bookfair in Zagreb (ASK - Anarhisticki sajam knjiga) is annual anarchist event that aims to become a long-term, developing project. First three bookfairs went well, and we hope to bring in more and more people every year as participants, publishers, groups, projects - whoever is interested in what the bookfair has to offer.

The Guarani Mbyá People are living in the south east of Brazil. In the last 30 years the Brazilian Government has built 2 Nuclear Power Plants (Angra 1 and 2) on their traditional territory south of Rio de Janeiro. Now the Government Lula da Silva is going to complete another Nuclear Power Plant (Angra 3) at the same place. The Brazilian Government also is going to open up new uranium mines in Brazil. There is today one mine in Bahia. But soon – if there is no international movement against it – there will be a second terrible uranium mine in the State of Ceará.

Ende August/Anfang September plant das Österreichische Black Metal Label „Silent Booking“ (Philipp Poyer, Robert Schupitta) in Kooperation mit den personell quasi identen Blackmetal-Initiativen „Blackmetal.at“ und „Ashen Productions“ zum zweiten Mal das sogenannte „Dunkelheit Festival“. Im Jahr 2005 hatte es österreichweites Aufsehen um das Festival gegeben, weil sich unter den auftretenden Bands Vertreter des extrem rechten bis neonazistischen Flügels der Blackmetal-Szene befanden.
